How can you possibly question you are walking your path when you keep getting the signs all along the way? And if that is not enough, just one more hint again for the skeptical mind to keep busy figuring out the hows and whys.
Well, I finally started reading a book that has been patiently sitting on the shelf for so long. And as it happens with the most significant books in one’s life, they come in just the right moment when we are ready for the information. As being immersed in the world of plants in the past years, I have been gently approaching them slowly, one step at a time. Trying different directions and experiencing connection in various forms I walk the land, listen to nature, collect plants when they are ready, see them being transformed to give the essence of their healing qualities and energies in a subtle way. I also photograph them to prolong the time we can spend with the admiration of their beautiful appearance, colours, shapes, textures.
And then, here comes this book about Communication with Plants for Healing and Higher Consciousness. The author and her friend bearing the same names – Carole and Pam – as two wonderful ladies I recently met and I admired so much both for their shining beauty, wisdom, individual personalities and caring friendship towards one other. And to continue, I met them in Ireland, the country where the author Carole Guyett guides us in her book Sacred Plant Initiations.
Ireland was a very specific hit already, but then she takes us to the land of county Clare! Why is that so interesting? That was the area I had been dreaming about for over two years to visit the remote however iconic Burren Perfumery. That was my most desired wish when visiting Ireland (next to attending the Aromatic Kinesiology ® workshop with Robbi Zeck), and I am utterly grateful as my dream had come true just like a fairy tale. Million thanks to my cheerful and adventurous Irish classmate, the Greece-enthusiast, aromatherapist and reflexologist Agnes Casey from River Lodge Therapies at Tipperary.
Well, Pat Montgomery closes her forewords for the book with this:
“The book you hold in your hands is one whose time has come. The plants and trees are calling us to take up our rightful place and reclaim our birthright of being part of Nature, not separate from it. They are asking us to remember who we are, where we live, and how to live. They are guiding us in our evolution to know the truth of our lineage as sacred humans, those who walk with Spirit and aliveness each and every day.”
