AROMATIC WATERS FROM MEDICINAL PLANTS

ARTISAN HYDROSOLS

"Distilling aromatic plants brought me to this metaphorical discovery, whereas distillers rising all over the world help the process of the awakened feminine and masculine to surface, balance, heal and reunite."

Reunite these two qualities within each of us, and in society… I believe we artisan distillers are doing way more than distilling for essential oil or hydrosol. We are making these changes happen by starting with ourselves, and with bringing goodness to our communities holistically. What a journey for all of us!

AROMATIC PLANTS,
OUR HEALING ALLIES

Are you familiar with HYDROSOLS?

Fragrant waters are produced when distilling aromatic medicinal plants. Also called hydrosols, hydrolats or ‘flower waters’, they might come from either flowers, fruits, leaves, branches, roots, even resins or other plant materials.

Ildiko’s distillations of Cretan aromatic plants are carried out with a traditional copper still, in small batches within a slow and artisanal setup. From her own inner need of high quality & care, she is using pure ingredients, either organic (by nature of source and not necessarily by authority stamps) or ethically wild crafted joyfully, with respect and consent of the Plants.

You can enjoy using aromatic waters in various ways for your Space, Body, Mind & Soul. Simply and profoundly, the alchemical mist as a scented messenger makes an immediate effect for our feel-good and well-being, and it is my honour offering them to You!

THE JOURNEY OF THE ALCHEMIST

Each and every distillation is a new journey, a contemplation, an experiment and exploration finding bridges between the Spirit of Plant Kingdom and the Soul of our Human Nature.

with aromatic plants!

It is important to know that during a distillation process typically there is both essential oil and hydrosol produced at the same time and none of them inferior or superior to the other, simply different in nature and the way used. One needs to understand the art of distillation, processes, plants used, material and type of distillation apparatus, as well as a number of influential contributors to get a more considerate insight of ratio of the various extracts, and their corresponding quantity and quality features.
