The Nature of Space
Available for rent, this beautifully finished living space located in Csillaghegy, Óbuda within the 3rd district of Budapest. The modern apartment reflects the work and style of a well-known Hungarian interior designer, attentive and functional, features clean lines and colours. Beyond my dreams, this place served as a truly hospitable receptive home for some wonderful and transformative years in my life. What’s more, this residence comes with the best location within the peaceful green residential condominium ‘Foresthill’ that was built in 2009 and is a relatively small human scale complex of three standalone 3-storey buildings.
The nature of space in this 103 sqm property is the heart-opening spacious interiors that open further into the extra large 70 sqm terrace, and that plays a significant role in the time spent here.

The Anatomy of Interiors
The core and soul of the interior is the spacious open space, where the living-room and dining area are connected in harmonious symbiosis, and further on towards the open-plan kitchen with long working surfaces and plenty of hidden storage cabinets. Another highlight of the apartment is the extra-large bathroom with windows overlooking the park, therefor time spent here feels like a home spa and brings an unparalleled experience of relaxation and recharging. The two bedrooms are bright and quiet, modestly molding into the anatomy of the residence with their own solid independence.
A laundry room that comes with a hand wash basin, a second toilet, well equipped with washing machine, clothes rack, iron, vacuum cleaner and other cleaning utensils.
Furnishings and equipment
The warmth of the wood floor, structured and bleached oak, as well as the high-quality bespoke modern furniture provide a firm base and space for moving in and if required, complementing with almost any other style of additional furnishing.
The kitchen has high-gloss painted cabinets along with Corian countertop, induction hob (with corresponding iittala cookware), electric oven, built-in island hood, refrigerator, wine cooler, dishwasher, microwave, and fully equipped kitchen (in needed).
The dining area comes with a solid wood dining table and Danish-design BoConcept chairs. And a large BoConcept leather sofa adds to the cosiness of the lounge, where individually dimmable ceiling and wall lighting fixtures take care of further ambient mood adjustments for each section of the room including the built-in bookshelves.
The main bedroom welcomes you with a luxury Swedish Jensen Carpe Diem bed, and a full-wall wardrobe closet with sliding doors that just makes life more easy and organised. The second bedroom also features a built-in cabinet with closed and open shelves.
Features, materials
In the main bathroom a Duravit by Starck bathtub connects with a basin, surfacing a large area, both moulded in the unique Corian countertop. There is also a walk-in shower and a discreetly located WC in this spacious bathroom, as well as a fitted multi-drawer cabinet that blends unnoticed into the environment.
In the fully equipped laundry room there is a second WC, a wall-mounted sink with drawer, additional nicely hidden storage cabinets, washing machine, iron, ironing desk, and house-cleaning tools.
The apartment has excellent thermal insulation, both due to proper building materials and an extra fitted ThermoProtect foil on the glass doors and windows of our top-floor apartment. The shutters on the large wall-to-wall windows contribute to the light and heat control of the interior, in addition to comfort and privacy. All the shutters are motorised and remote controlled. There is also air-conditioning in the living room.
Condominium and surroundings
> The residential condominium operates with a 24-hour reception office, features its own private gardens, forest, and playground, as well as a communal outdoor barbecue, and an indoor gym run by the residents. The building is equipped with an elevator.
> Adjacent to our residential building you find the recently renovated Csillaghegyi Bath featuring outdoor and indoor swimming pools. A truly short walking distance accessible even in flip-flops, and offers wellness services and a beautiful park with ancient trees.
> Mocsárosdűlő, the last remaining natural wetland on the Buda side of town, is a 10-minute walk recreational area. Featuring a study trail, it is also a magical terrain for self-paced walking, jogging, cycling and kite flying, or just watching some grazing sheep. There is also a horse-riding school next door, alternatively, a few more horse farms and riding schools on the other side of the hill in Üröm and Pilisborosjenő.
> Water lovers will reach the Danube in a 10-minute drive (perhaps a longer walk or bike-ride?) to enjoy the endless beauty of the Római-part area, with abundant options for sports and restaurants. Scooters are also parked and available all over the area via Tier or Lime.
> Public transport is available by the nearby bus stop. The Szentendrei HÉV train line has a stop in Csillaghegy and is only a 5-minute walk from the building. Margit híd (Margaret Bridge), for instance, takes a 20-minutes train ride from here.
