Not only it is a great way to exercise having a walk in nature, but also lets us create a healthy diet in an economic way. Also an opportunity to have fun as a group, or enjoy some peaceful time whenever you go collecting wild edible plants. Grandma Olga will give us this opportunity!
To make this learning circle even more exceptional, Kleonikos G. Stavridakis the author of the book “Wild edible plants of Crete” will join us!
On Sunday 6th March we will continue the study circle with them. We will meet at 10:00 in the morning at Joelle’s yurt in Paidochori and we will go to collect 5 different ‘horta’. After that we will clean and cook our plants and eat them together.
Participation is 10 euros, including the lunch. Please bring your own knife and bag or basket.

The place is between Neo Chorio and Paidochori. At the end of Neo Chorio with direction Agious Pantes at about 1,5 km there is a yellow arrow at your right which you should follow. You’ll find more yellow arrows until the place. You can also come from Agious Pantes and follow the direction Nerochori-Paidochori. At Paidochori’s school turn right until the yellow arrow pointing you right.
