From courgette to something bigger

Squash soup cooked with inspiration

Some philosophical thoughts for today from my gardening time. About 3 months ago I thought I was planting courgettes. Up until they started to grow something bigger… So what was originally planted as courgette (also known as zucchini) turned out to be my first ever homegrown squash (or marrow?).

What happened then? A squash soup cooked with inspiration – including onion, garlic, turmeric, saffron, Greek yoghurt, and a few this and that… plus black sesame seeds on top. Lovely, tasty & looking cool.

Here’s my moral of the story: whatever life has to offer you, have a look at it, try to accept the fruits and make the best out of it. Well, I did my best!
